Stroke Camp takes place on 264 acres of rolling hills in the beautiful farming country of Southeastern Indiana. The conference and retreat center has modern amenities and conveniences for campers. Campers will stay in hotel style rooms with private bathrooms.
The weekend is designed specifically for survivors and caregivers in a comfortable and informal setting that focuses on:

WHY IS UPLIFT INVOLVED?
Why is Uplift involved? Partnering with this Stroke Camp is part of our “Do It For Donna” initiative. This initiative was launched by UpLift’s executive director, Wendy McClellan in loving memory of Donna (LeMasters) McClellan who courageously fought back after a significant stroke in 2016 that left her with partial right side paralysis and speech aphasia but did not take away her joy & compassion.
