PROCTOR PARK
Please listen to this heartfelt message from the fathers of two fallen heroes from right here in Johnson County and join UpLift as we raise funds to honor our heroes in this place of remembrance.
Proctor Park was created as a peaceful place to honor and remember our Johnson County service members and first responders, many of whom have given their lives in the line of duty. Please join Uplift and the Proctor Park Committee as we raise funds to add a memorial for our most recently fallen officers, enhance and expand upon the existing Pathway of Honor, and make necessary repairs and improvements to the existing monuments. Proctor Park is located at 499 Tracy Rd in New Whiteland.
PHASE ONE - estimated $50,000
Moving and expanding the Pathway of Honor from the back of the park to the entry. The monuments in this area honor first responders, past and present, who put their lives on the line every day to keep our communities safe. This will be done in honor of fallen Trooper, Aaron Smith.
PHASE TWO - estimated $47,000
Cleaning and repainting all of the monuments around the park. Proctor Park has over 30 monuments honoring our military and first responders. This process will not only beautify our park but continue to properly honor those who are memorialized here.

In honor of Trooper Aaron Smith, who honorably served 12 years in the Indiana National Guard and 5 years with the Indiana State Police before giving his life in the line of duty on June 28, 2023.
